There are three sessions on Saturday morning and each session is designed to cater for the needs of each individual child, to consolidate and develop their individual skills and abilities while at the same time motivate and inspire the children to develop using teamwork within a sports environment.  Social and communication interactive skills are recognised, valued and encouraged which are key skills for successful adult life in a competitive world.   Coaching is not just about football but equipping children appropriate to their age and ability with skills for life.

Each session is run completely on ability level.  The parent of every child will be advised about the session that suits their child’s ability and skills to ensure that the coaching they receive is at a level suitable at their child but at the same time challenge their learning and skills.  The coaches work across all three of the sessions on a Saturday morning so they are fully aware and informed about current abilities for each sessions and what will suit your child to be motivated and challenged.

Saturday mornings is divided into three different sessions;

MINI KICKERS (AGE 3 – RECEPTION) – 9.00 to 10.00
Mini Kickers session has been designed to engage children’s interest in sport at a young age through a happy and fun surrounding but simultaneously helping the children develop the co-ordination, techniques, body control and gross motor skills needed not just for football but for sports in general. This session is a great starting block for any child, due to the fun nature of the session and the amount of sport-orientated tasks that the children will undertake with and without a ball, the children will gain a basic understanding of football with the ball having a major role in the session whatever and however the session takes a route but we see this session as the session that ‘lays the foundations’ for a fun sporting future but also as a setting stage for Midi league.

Mini Kickers is a session for children between the ages of 3 and reception (9.00 – 10.00).

MINI LEAGUE (YEARS 1 AND 2) - 10.15 to 11.15
This session is for children who possess the basic skills and knowledge of football, this session looks to advance their technical ability with a football and focusing on the positional sense of the children in small sided games. We look to develop and improve the children’s ability with a football, as an individual and as a team but also showing them the fundamentals of each aspect of football, but teaching the essential skills and rules needed in small sided games. This stage is very team orientated to achieve the team’s goals. We deliver a highly professional and structured coaching session where we will often stop the session to teach and encourage peer assessing learning from the coaches but also from the other children in the team.
Mini League is a session for children in School year 1 and 2 (10.15 – 11.15)

JUNIOR LEAGUE (YEARS 3, 4 AND 5)- 11.30 to 12.30
This session is an advanced progression of Mini League, the coaches look to create an improved competitive game understanding, where they work on the finer details of the game, from working the technical aspects of certain drills to certain movements, runs, team shape of a individual as part of a team. We look to create great understanding and help improve the children’s knowledge of the game.

Junior League is a session for children in school years 3, 4 and 5 (11.30 – 12.30)
